Prevent Spalling

Prevent Spalling

Water penetrates the concrete and migrates through the concrete via capillary voids, similar to how blood flows through capillaries in your body.
When the temperature drops low enough for the water in the concrete to freeze, the water expands and causes damage to the concrete surface, otherwise know as spalling.

How DRYCRETE™ protects concrete:
DryCrete penetrates the concrete four to six inches utilizing the capillary structure, reacting with unhydrated cement. This reaction causes a colloidal gel to form inside the capillary structure, sealing the concrete from the inside out. This gel resists any water or chloride penetration, providing unsurpassed permanent protection.

Multiple Use

Permanent Moisture Control
  •  Permanent integration into the concrete mass
  • Greatly reduces permeability
  •  Enhances surface traction properties
  •  Promotes greater surface bond
  •  Provides internal humidity stability
  •  Mitigates moisture vapor emission
  •  Stops ASR and prevents further reactivity
  •  Eliminates internal water migration
  •  Resists Freeze-Thaw Damage
  •  Excellent resistance to salt & deicer erosion
  •  Virtually eliminates dusting potential
  •  Stops efflorescence
  •  Significantly increases acid & chemical resistance
EARTH FRIENDLY
  • Non-Toxic
  • Zero VOC
  • Environmentally Safe
  • User Friendly
  • Odorless
  • Non-Flammable

Prevent Spalling

It seems the number one call back for new home-owners to the contractor is for trouble with concrete surfaces.
As usual, it’s cracked, spalled, or some how just not right... and giving you a lot of headaches.

PREVENT BLUSHING

Whitening of concrete sealers – also known as ”Blushing”
+

PREVENT SPALLING

When the water in concrete is able to freeze, it then expands & causes damage to concrete surfaces.
+

PREVENT MOISTURE ISSUES

Leaves no surface residual to impede or hinder bonding of any coatings or adhesives.
+

PREVENT EFFLORESCENCE

A white crystalline powder-like substance which forms on surface of concrete, stucco, brick or masonry.
