Moisture Stop Plus

DRYCRETE™ Moisture Stop PLUS is a proprietary catalyzed colloidal silicate formulation in an aqueous base which is safe and easy to apply.

DRYCRETE™ Moisture Stop PLUS  is both a curing compound and moisture vapor blocker, with consistent benefits of Moisture Stop. It is applied at the time of pour, as soon as one can walk on the concrete without marring the surface.  After a minimum of 21 days of cure time under forced or open air aeration, the installation of coatings, and/or traditional flooring materials can be completed with a Life of the Concrete Warranty against moisture vapor emission related failures.

  • Exhibits a high degree of penetration without leaving any residue on the surface.
  • Significantly decreases un-hydrated cement (free alkali) thereby increasing concrete's density.
  • Reduces permeability by greater than 90%.
  • Highly effective in protecting the concrete surface against acid & salt/chemical erosion.
  • Formulated using "green technology" and LEED credit qualification.
  • No harmful fumes or objectionable odors for trouble free applications on interior projects.
  • Ready to use formula allows for easy application and labor cost savings on the job.
  • Can be placed on fresh concrete. No waiting period.

LEED CREDIT CONSIDERATIONS: Materials and Resources: MR Credit 1.2 Building re-use. Environmental Quality: EQ Credits 4.2: Low emitting materials (VOC <25 g/L).

Drycrete Cure Shield

A water base colloidal silicate concrete curing agent that is an excellent alternative to standard water curing.

Drycrete Moisture Stop

Easy to Apply

On Existing Concrete
Apply DRYCRETE using a low pressure pump-up tank sprayer with a fan spray nozzle. Holding spray tip 6-8 inches from surface, apply at minimum rate of 200-250 square feet per gallon with an overlapping spray pattern of 10-20%. Begin application at the lowest elevation. For example, walls and slopes should be applied side to side, from the bottom up.
As a Cure Method on newly poured Concrete
Apply DRYCRETE with a low-pressure pump-up tank sprayer or by flooding and broom out. Apply to the newly placed surface as soon as is practical following its surface finishing phase. Recommended minimum coverage as a cure method is 150-200 square feet per gallon on textured surfaces or 250-300 SF per gallon on hard trowel finished concrete surfaces.

Whitening of concrete sealers – also known as ”Blushing”

When the water in concrete is able to freeze, it then expands & causes damage to concrete surfaces.

Leaves no surface residual to impede or hinder bonding of any coatings or adhesives.

A white crystalline powder-like substance which forms on surface of concrete, stucco, brick or masonry.
